Dear Friends,
I’m writing to inform you of a big, positive transition in the life of our ministry:
Yesteday, November 1, 2018, Youth With A Mission North Cascades has entered a long-term lease agreement on a hotel in our area known as The Mill Inn (separate from the Mill Bistro & Lounge). This is a special building to our city and serves as the iconic cornerstone of Downtown Lynden which was recently named the Best Mainstreet in America. We recognize that The Mill Inn is not just YWAM’s building, it truly belongs to Lynden, and we intend to steward it as a hallmark in our community.
The Mill Inn, in addition to our various existing facilities, will allow us to host more international missionaries, NGO workers and YWAM participants as it facilitates further expansion for YWAM North Cascades.
Over the past 4 years, we have hosted hundreds of local and international participants from 20 nations and across the U.S. who have contributed to Lynden’s local community and economy, especially various downtown consumer businesses. We expect this to only increase through our growing presence.
Thank you for years of love and support for YWAM North Cascades. Because of you, we have experienced phenomenal impact and steady growth in our ministry activities.
