Grow your skills in leading others.

The First Time School Leaders Workshop is a one-week workshop focused on helping you as you embark on leading your first school.

Working through the DTS curriculum and translating it into a robust and excellent school can be daunting, especially the first time. This workshop is for those that want to come together with other DTS leaders and work out all the details of designing full learning weeks that reflect the DTS curriculum, the mission, vision, and values of YWAM, and your campus. We will spend 5 days working through every element and outcome of a DTS thoughtfully and intentionally.

This week will walk us through everything from lecture topics, speaker lists, designing small groups, local outreach, debrief and processing, worship, intercession, classroom facilitation, orientation and debrief weeks, and more. You will leave with a comprehensive plan for your next DTS, a plan that meets all the requirements of a DTS, and a plan that displays the culture and uniqueness of your campus and its words of the Lord.

This workshop is designed for first time school leaders, but anyone who wants to work through the designs of their DTS is welcome. We recommend that you bring at least one other person so that you can work through your plans with someone who understands your community.

For those of you that have been doing it the same way for a long time, join us and infuse your DTS with new ideas, creativity, and out of the box thinking.
