The Frontier Comics Seminar (FCS) is a six-week seminar that will help you hone your cartooning skills while giving you a focus for them that will impact the least, the last and the lost with the hope of the Gospel.

Topics Include:

  • Faith and the Arts
  • Cross-Cultural Communication
  • Story Development, Life Drawing
  • Comic Illustration
  • Color Theory
  • Character Design
  • Digital Art: (Photoshop, Procreate, ClipStudio Paint)
The second part of FCS is a production phase.

During the production phase of the seminar, the classroom will become a comics studio in which students will work on a comics project benefiting Unreached People Groups who haven’t heard about the Gospel.

Projects could include:

  • Developing a children’s book
  • Writing a graphic novel, comic book, coloring book
  • Creating a webcomic series
  • Publishing an evangelistic tract

This will be a hands-on learning environment that will train you in the different stages of creating culture-shaping comics art with excellence.
